For the annual Het Grote Speelgoedboek campaign of bol, we created a vibrant 3D commercial designed specifically for screening during the K3 concert series. A unique environment where entertainment and brand experience come together, and where a commercial needs to instantly capture the attention of both children and parents.
From concept to screen in three weeks
This project was all about speed, trust, and creative momentum. From initial briefing to final delivery, the entire production was completed within just three weeks. Concept development, design, 3D animation, and post-production ran largely in parallel, requiring fast decision-making and a highly collaborative workflow.
The short timeline demanded clarity and confidence — both creatively and technically. With a focused team and clear communication lines, we were able to move quickly without compromising on quality or storytelling.
Creative freedom meets collaboration
Working closely with bol, we were given the creative freedom to translate the playful energy of Het Grote Speelgoedboek into a fully animated 3D world. The goal was to create a commercial that felt magical, dynamic, and instantly recognizable within the larger live concert experience.
By combining bold visuals, playful motion, and a strong sense of rhythm, the final film seamlessly connected the excitement of the K3 shows with the joy of discovering new toys.
